Selling things on your own ecommerce platform is vital, but social media sites are another place you should consider selling online. You can sell your products on a variety of social media platforms, but the ones that are best for your brand will be determined by:

1. Where does your target audience prefer to spend their time online?

2. What types of material do your customers enjoy?

3. Where are your target clients more likely to respond to internet advertisements?

You may need to try out a few different social media selling platforms to discover which one converts the best for your audience.

This blog tells  some of the top social media networks for brands to sell on online, as well as how to get set up for selling on them, to give you a sense of what's possible in terms of social selling.

Let's begin!

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SELL ON PINTEREST?

Pinterest has invested time, effort, and energy optimizing how to use Pinterest for business, and

they've made it incredibly simple for businesses to grasp how to use Pinterest for business.

We went through Pinterest marketing in depth in our Pinterest Marketing for Ecommerce Businesses piece, but we'll go over the choices here to give you a broad understanding of how you may sell your items on Pinterest.

Promoted Pins

Promoted pins are simply advertising that company accounts may pay for to ensure that a certain audience sees their content. A sponsored pin may be purchased by any Pinterest business account; they appear on the interface as regular pins and function similarly to traditional PPC advertisements. One of the biggest benefits of sponsored pins on Pinterest is that they generate just as much — if not more — engagement than regular pins. Users aren't deterred from connecting with the pin just because it's an advertisement, which is excellent news for companies. Rich Pins

The enhanced standard pins that provide a better user experience. They give additional information about the pin based on the category it belongs to, and they are exclusively available to Pinterest business accounts. Rich Pins are divided into four categories: app, product, recipe, and article, each with its own set of capabilities. You'll probably want to concentrate on Product Rich Pins because they let Pinterest users purchase more easily by giving pricing, availability, and purchasing information. Check out the Pinterest Business Rich Pins guide to learn more about Rich Pins and the four distinct varieties.

Shop the Look Pins

Shop the Look Pins are exclusive to Pinterest's fashion and home décor categories, and they allow users to quickly locate and purchase products featured in the pin. Shop the Look Pins are identified by little white dots that point out the things in the pin that are for sale, and users may press the white dot to be led to the website where they can purchase the item. Influencers and companies alike may utilize Shop the Look Pins to make the buying experience more effective for their followers. Check out the Pinterest Business Shop the Look Pins page for additional information on Shop the Look Pins.

HOW to SELL USING INSTAGRAM?

 There are a few ways:

Instagram Stories

Instagram Shopping

Instagram Live

IGTV

Instagram Ads

First and foremost, you must create and optimize an Instagram company account. A business account gives you access to a slew of extra tools for marketing and managing your company, the most useful of which are the Instagram Insights and Shopping tools.

HOW to SET UP AN INSTAGRAM SHOP?

Online sellers can combine their product catalogue with their Instagram profile via an Instagram shop. This simplifies the process of promoting your products through articles and tales. On Instagram's "Explore" page, it's also easier for users to locate you. That's on top of having an online store that customers can visit through your profile, posts, and stories' "Shop" page.

Your Instagram shop's product pages are quite similar to those of a traditional ecommerce business. So, if you haven't opened your Facebook store yet but want to open an Instagram shop, you'll have to start with Facebook first. Return to the top of the page for instructions on how to accomplish this. We'll assume you've already set up your Facebook store for the rest of this section.

SETTING UP INSTAGRAM SHOP

All that's left to do now is connect your Instagram business profile to your Facebook company page. Simply go to Instagram's settings and select "Linked Accounts" from the drop-down menu. Instagram will then direct you on what to do next.

After that, Instagram will do a review of your Instagram shop before it goes live. So all you can do at this point is sit and wait. This can take a few days, so don't be alarmed if you don't hear back within a few hours. Instagram will notify you if your account has been approved.

Use the "Product" sticker to tag products in your Instagram Stories. Best of all, you can change the color and text of the sticker to match the look of your brand.

INSTAGRAM ADS

Unlike organic (free) posts, sponsored Instagram advertising can be linked directly to a product or landing page. This is a great way to increase traffic to your store and increase revenue.

In terms of price, Facebook and Instagram ads are pretty similar. The average cost per thousand impressions is roughly $5, although it's worth noting that the majority of research says that Instagram posts garner higher engagement than Facebook ones.

Setting up Instagram ad campaigns is quite comparable to setting up Facebook ad campaigns in terms of pricing.
